Patrick Bailey
PATRICK BAILEY, ESQUIRE, is an associate with Linkhorst Law Firm, P.A. Mr. Bailey’s practice is focused on complex commercial litigation and construction litigation, contract and business disputes, and construction lien matters.
Mr. Bailey started his legal career as a law clerk for several judges at the Fourth District Court of Appeal. During that time, he handled a variety of matters, both civil and criminal, that concerned unsettled and complex legal concepts. After his time with the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Mr. Bailey clerked at the Florida Supreme Court with the Honorable Justice Jorge Labarga. At the Florida Supreme Court, Mr. Bailey worked on the most pressing and complex legal matters in the State of Florida.
After his clerkships, Mr. Bailey worked in the appellate division of a large civil defense firm where he handled complex commercial litigation, construction, intellectual property, insurance defense, and general liability matters. He then worked in the appellate division of a large, national products liability firm where he assisted in litigating unsettled and novel legal questions across the country.
Mr. Bailey received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Stetson University, and his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the school’s flagship law review journal, and he received the Order of the Coif.
